Delfzijl - Metal Park Delfzijl
Metal Park Delfzijl
Metal Park Delfzijl is a sustainably developed industrial site
in the port area of Delfzijl. The 31-hectare site has been set up
specifically as a cluster park for metal-oriented companies. It
borders to the large production plant of the primary aluminium smelter,
Aldel. The Park has been opened up multi-modally by rail, road,
inland water, and see. Groningen Seaports maintains and manages
Metal Park Delfzijl.
Metal Park Delfzijl has created the perfect conditions for synergy
between all companies that have already established on the site
and those that intend to start a business here. Metal Park Delfzijl
offers the benefits of clustering. It is ideally situated, while
the infrastructure and set-up are such that the park enhances mutual
collaboration. There are, for instance, initiatives to set up a
joint purchase – via park management – of energy, gas,
compressed air, water, waste management, security, and transport
management. The set-up of the park is also ideal for joint R&D
projects.
Metal Park Delfzijl offers space to metallurgic companies in the
widest sense of the word – from primary and secondary metal
producers to processing companies and handlers of end products.
From large-scale industries to transport companies. Customers have
the option either to lease or to buy the land. Also, they can determine
the lot size themselves. Metal Park Delfzijl offers its users great
value.
