All depths shown here are given in relation to Normal Amsterdam Level (NAP). Delfzijl and Eemshaven have a double tide. In Delfzijl LLWS is 2.03 metres under NAP. At Eemshaven LLWS is 1.80 metres under NAP.

The tide table for Delfzijl can be used to calculate the tide in Eemshaven. High water at Eemshaven is 40 minutes earlier and 0.22 metres lower than high water in Delfzijl. Low water at Eemshaven is 46 minutes earlier and 0.28 metres higher than in Delfzijl. The eastern wind can lower the water level. All depths given here are indicative.
