Sponsoring

The sponsoring policy of Groningen Seaports is aimed mainly at goodwill in the direct vicinity, where Groningen Seaports is directly active.

Various small associations and organisations operating in the DEAL municipalities (Delfzijl, Eemsmond, Appingedam, Loppersum) are eligible for financial support. Groningen Seaports also finances various events in those municipalities.

Since Groningen Seaports receives many applications and the sponsoring budget is limited, it has been decided to grant as many applications as possible but in smaller amounts. Applications can be submitted by ordinary mail or email to info@groningen-seaports.com. The application should contain a description of the activity, the place and date and, if possible, a budget statement. The applications are assessed by an internal committee.
