DHSS’ expansion in Eemshaven in full flow

The planned expansion of DHSS, part of Clarksons Port Services since the beginning of this year, has moved ahead at great speed since the announcement last April. The work on all the permits and the site moved ahead at a rate of knots, and currently the construction of the building is going full steam ahead.

The building will soon provide space for service companies and clients who work in offshore energy. They can rent offices or entire floors for a certain period of time. “Two floors have already been rented out to large clients in offshore wind and there are ongoing negotiations with a new organisation that would like to locate in Eemshaven”, says a proud Tonnie Schuijl, commercial director of DHSS. The warehouse will soon provide room for 1750 square meters of storage. Behind the building there are sixty parking spaces, which means that technical staff no longer need to park on the quay.

Work on the new building is still in full flow. Currently, all the work is on schedule and the Service Centre is expected to be commissioned around 1 March 2024, with plans for an official opening for nearby businesses and clients.
