Business park Fivelpoort
Business park Fivelpoort is a sustainable and high-end business park of 45 hectares for entrepreneurs with courage, creativity, and innovation. Fivelpoort is in the middle of an area that is full of creative developments in the area of chemistry, energy, data, earthquake-resistant and energy-neutral construction, and the circular economy. The site has been heated and cooled with thermal energy for more than 10 years, and that makes Fivelpoort independent of gas for the same period. The business park is situated in Appingedam on the N33 and the Eemskanaal canal and it literally is the gate to the port areas of Delfzijl and Eemshaven. It has an environmental classification 3.2 and the site has shared facilities, managed by the Cooperative Coöperatie Bedrijvenpark Fivelpoort (CBF).

Business park Farmsumerpoort
Farmsumerpoort is a fully developed business park in the immediate vicinity of industry and the port of Delfzijl and has access on both sides to the Eemskanaal, a major canal in the Dutch inland shipping network. The business park offers premises for service companies operating in the logistics and service sector, for example. Farmsumerpoort is ideally located close to major industries and just a stone’s throw from Delfzijl’s seaport and inner harbour. Farmsumerpoort offers direct connections by road, sea, and inland waterway. Plots are available from 2,000 m² and the environmental classification is 1-4.
Business park De Delta
Business park De Delta is an SME site in the centre of the Delfzijl industrial area at a scenic location off the Delfzijl – Winschoten trunk road (N362). The park is surrounded by water on nearly all sides, giving it a unique position. The park is extremely suitable for suppliers to the chemical and metallurgical sector and for industrial service providers. The construction took account of green zones, safety, and a comfortable infrastructure. At the 4.9 hectares of the De Delta, the environmental classification is 5.3.

Business park Weiwerd
The former terp village of Weiwerd has been transformed into a business park. This is a shining example of intelligent rezoning of an archaeological monument. The cultural-historical values form an important starting point in developing into a small-scale knowledge-intensive business park. The still intact radial structure has been retained completely and has even been accentuated. Existing business buildings are retained and new-build takes account of the archaeological value. Weiwerd has 23 unique plots and four existing buildings, each with their own history and identity. The environmental classification is 3.2.
Multitenant buildings and offices
There are several multitenant buildings in both port areas, where you can lease space for your business activity. The various buildings have good access and are equipped with the necessary facilities. The buildings can be furnished jointly, if required. The atmosphere is pleasant, and there are effective ways of upscaling. Buildings and spaces for laboratories or a demo plant are also available on the industrial park.
There are various office complexes in the area with lettable offices and the option of flexible workplaces. It’s even possible to rent a desk only. Groningen Seaports can put you in touch with the owners of the multitenant buildings and offices.
