Welcome to the heart that connects the ports with the city

Here, in the Delfzijl/Eemshaven region, thousands of people work on a green future. On hydrogen. On circular production. On biochemical innovations. However, too few people outside the region know what really happens here in the seaports of Groningen…whilst there is so much room for talent to have an impact together. So, we are taking this world to the city.

In the city centre of Groningen, at Brugstraat, we opened the doors to the Groningen Seaports City Hub. A place where inquisitiveness and opportunities come together. A place where students, young professionals, businesses, and organisations meet, discover narratives, and work together on the port issues and transitions of today.

The Groningen Seaports City Hub provides an excellent opportunity to be visible to students, who are an important target group for the future of the port area. With educational institutions and the dynamic environment of the city centre in the vicinity, businesses and organisations from the Eems region have an easy way to reach out to young talent and to enthuse them for a career in the port and industrial areas.
