Contitank continues to plan ahead

Contitank – an independent player in the market for the storage of vegetable and animal oils and fats – once again has lots of plans in development for 2015. The Delfzijl company is going to invest in new storage tanks in order to meet the increasing demand for liquid storage facilities. In 2014 an important decision was taken by entering into a partnership with the logistic service provider Fritom Group.
Furthermore, Contitank Tankstorage will start using its plant, also located at its terminal, as a pilot plant, so that both starting and established companies can make use of the existing permits and facilities, such as storage, transport, mains services and steam.

Contitank
Contitank Tankstorage has been modernised considerably over the past few years, and it has made investments to make sure it can serve its customers even better. A filling installation was purchased for bulk containers and drums, making it also possible to pack in smaller quantities. In addition, a new weighbridge with a capacity of 60 ton has been put into operation. The Terminal in Delfzijl is in a good strategic position to serve the Netherlands as well as North and South Europe. Contitank can store both small and large batches of products (50 cbm-5000 cbm), it has a tank storage capacity of 33,000 cbm, and it has its own landing stage, suitable for ships with a draught of more than 9 metres.
